I'm Glen Rienecker—Personal Trainer, founder of Nexus Active, and a lifelong student of health and fitness.

 

 

Over the years I have explored many and varied aspects of the wellness world: diets, workouts, disciplines, and mindsets. I’ve chased results, followed rules, and tried a whole lot of training methods, too many diets, every “right” way to be healthy and fit. I spent decades trying to mold my body into someone else’s idea of health—counting macros, cutting out food groups, grinding through workouts, shrinking my joy to fit the plan. 

 

Until one day, I stopped.

I remember it clearly. I was at a restaurant with my family, browsing the menu filled with delicious foods that my "diet" didn't allow, on top of that, earlier in the day, I had finished another punishing workout. I felt more restricted and disconnected than ever. I had followed the rules. I had done the work. But my body felt like a battleground, not a partner.

 

That was the turning point

 

I chose to listen.

To trust.

To move in rhythm with my body, not against it.

No more diets that silence my hunger.

No more workouts that break me down.

No more chasing someone else’s version of “fit and healthy.”

Instead, I move because it feels good.

I eat because it nourishes me.

I rest because I deserve it.

Every step, every breath, every bite is an act of trust.

This is my truth.

This is my freedom.

This is how my body was meant to thrive—not as a project, but as a partner in a lifelong dance. Strong. Alive. In tune.
